Bios – Stacie

Stacie Traill is a freelance clarinetist in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, and frequently performs with various ensembles around the Twin Cities. Stacie is a committed advocate of contemporary chamber music for wind instruments, and is a founding member of Neoteric Chamber Winds. She holds the principal clarinet position in St. Paul-based wind ensemble Grand Symphonic Winds, and regularly performs with both the Civic Orchestra of Minneapolis and LADYBAND Chamber Winds. Stacie holds a B.M. in Clarinet Performance from Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and pursued graduate study in musicology at the University of Minnesota. When she’s not playing clarinet, Stacie is a librarian at the University of Minnesota, where she manages information technology systems. She lives in Minneapolis with her husband, Kyle, and their four beloved pets.
